Franki Martin - Artisan of Fine Art Jewelry

All of my work is one-of-a-kind created using Fine Silver Metal Clay and/or Fine Silver Wire and/or Argentium Sterling Silver wire.  I incorporate a variety of stones into my designs using semi precious beads and stones, Swarovski crystals, natural rocks, minerals and special lampwork beads created by other artists.  Metal Clay is crafted, then fired in a kiln.  The end result is Silver, Bronze or Copper.  In the case of Silver Clay, it fires to Fine Silver (99.9), does not tarnish and is very light for earring designs. I have a line of earrings I call "Long but Light" with posts and weighted backs that will not pull down the earlobe.  This silver is also the perfect choice for those with allergies to base metals. My silver wirework and viking knit pieces are all created using Argentium Sterling Silver which resists tarnish better than standard sterling silver.  I may also use copper or bronze clay & wire, however it will always be noted by the piece.
